Janet Haslam

Janet is an accomplished physiotherapist with a solid reputation both in the NHS and private sector. After graduating in 1972, Janet spent 15 years in the NHS and 5 years as a physio in a special school gaining further qualifications in teaching and an advanced certificate in Sports Physiotherapy. Janet formed Janet Haslam & Associates Ltd in 1999 and has been on many recognised training courses.

Clinical interests include all areas of physiotherapy and especially treatment of referred pain and adverse neural tension and mentoring less experienced staff.

Interests include gardening, looking after Chloe her 6 year old granddaughter!

Sandra Jackson

Sandra specialises in physiotherapy for babies, children, and young people who have problems with their physical development or coordination, affecting their ability to move and take part in everyday activities.

This involves working in partnership with the child and their parents, liaising or working with any other professionals involved as appropriate, (NHS and private), to maximise the child’s physical abilities and independence.

Sandra worked as a children’s physiotherapist in the NHS for twenty years before moving into private practice.

Having qualified as a physiotherapist in 1981, she specialised in paediatric physiotherapy in1984 and has worked with children since then apart from a break for a few years when her own 3 children were very young.

She has experience of a wide range of problems, conditions and syndromes, and also physiotherapy following surgery, including following Selective Dorsal Rhizotomy (SDR).

She is a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy(CSP) and the Association of Paediatric Chartered Physiotherapists(APCP) and has enhanced DBS (CRB) clearance.
